Hu-Friedy, at its option, will repair or replace, for a period of four years following the date of purchase, any IMS® or IMS® Signature Series® cassette that is defective because of material failure (including corrosion) or workmanship of the cassette shell.  Hu-Friedy, at its option, will also repair or replace, for a period of one year following the date of purchase, any IMS® or IMS® Signature Series® cassette that is defective because of material failure or workmanship of the internal and moving components.  Purchaser must return the defective cassette (FOB Hu-Friedy, Chicago, IL) and must have previously provided Hu-Friedy with the registration card.

Hu-Friedy disclaims liability, under this warranty or otherwise, for damages arising from (1) user negligence, misuse, abuse or alterations to the cassette; (2) the use of commercial grade washers; (3) dental automated washer disinfectors where manufacturer's processing guidelines are not followed; and/or improper set-up and installation of the device.
