Heraeus Gluma 5 Bond 4ml (Bond Cum Desensitizer)

Based on our long-term bonding expertise, we developed the 5th generation  etch & rinse one-bottle adhesive GLUMA Bond5. Produced to meet your everyday requirements for uncomplicated bonding, it exhibits excellent shear bond strength and ensures successful long-term restorations. GLUMA Bond5 produces excellent adhesion to the enamel and the dentine, as well as an optimal marginal sealing.

GLUMA Bond5 was developed for your comfort – in handling, performance and storage. It forms a homogeneous hybrid layer for safe sealing and high bond strength, especially on enamel. No shaking is needed before the application. GLUMA Bond5 can be stored at room temperature and is usable directly out of the bottle, without preparation time.

KEY SPECIFICATIONS:

• Rinse prepared site with water and air-dry
• For deep cavities, we recommend protecting the dentine near the pulp with an appropriate base filling (e.g. calcium hydroxide preparation and glass ionomer cement base filling). Cover the dentine near the pulp only. Leave the remainder of the cavity free for adhesion of GLUMA Bond 5.

Conditioning

Prior to application of GLUMA Bond 5 to the cavity preparation, pre-treatment of the tooth structure with an adequate etching gel is mandatory (e.g. Gluma Etch 35 Gel by Kulzer).

Application of GLUMA Bond 5

• Place GLUMA Bond 5 in a Dappen glass, pick it up with an applicator tip or a soft disposable brush and apply it generously to the complete surface of the cavity.
