Prem Prakash Gupta is currently Professor and Head Department of Biochemistry Seema Dental College and Hospital Rishikesh Uttarakhand He has about 12 years of teaching and more than 8 years of research experience In the field of cardiac electrophysiology and biochemistry He has worked In different capacities In Central Drug Research Institute (CDRI Lucknow before taking up the teaching profession In 1996 He obtained his masters degree In biochemistry from Lucknow University and PhD from CDRI Lucknow a world-fame Institute engaged in drug research Prof Gupta has published more than 30 research papers and science articles in national and International journals He has been honoured recently with CL Malhotra Research Prize for the year 2006-07 by the Association of Physiologists and Pharmacologists of India.
